Our church in the center of Florence has existed since 1901.
The Jubilee is a special time for our community: an opportunity to remember the path we have taken, to renew our faith, and to look to the future with hope. We celebrate together a year of gratitude and witness.

Our foundations
As a Lutheran church, we especially value worship and education, spiritual guidance, and care for those in need, as well as music and culture.
At the center of our faith and actions is the conviction that God accepts us—ourselves and our neighbour—just as we are.
What we do is not the cause of God’s love for us. Rather, because we know that we are loved by Him, we want and are called to live in a way that is good for ourselves and for our neighbour.
Our community
Our church in the center of Florence has existed since 1901.
Our church on Lungarno Torrigiani 11, in the center of Florence, has existed since 1901. Today our community extends across the whole of Tuscany, Emilia-Romagna, and the northern Marche.
Our community is part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Italy (CELI). Originally founded by Germans for Germans in Florence, today we are an open community in which nationality does not play a decisive role.
